All aboard! The train has left the station, and we're thrilled to report that our Board Games and Tea event was a complete success.

It was a delightful afternoon filled with laughs, friendly competition, and, of course, tea. We couldn't have asked for a better crowd of gamers to enjoy the day with.
We owe a massive thank you to Evan and Alexandra of Board Games & Tea and Port Moody Station Museum for hosting this event and inviting us to be a sponsor. The historic train car was the perfect setting for our gaming adventures. The old-fashioned decor and atmosphere gave us all a sense of nostalgia, and we felt like we were traveling back in time to a bygone era of railway travel.

And let's not forget about the tea! We were able to provide a variety of delicious teas for our guests to enjoy. Whether you preferred a bold black tea, a delicate green tea, or a romantic rooibos, there was something for everyone to sip on while they played. The big favorites of the day were the Hard Carry Chai and Sunrise over Hanamura cherry green sencha.
But of course, the real star of the show was the board games. We had everything from classic games like Connect 4 and Codenames to newer titles like King of Tokyo and Kodoma Forest. It was amazing to see how quickly strangers could come together over a shared love of board games, and before long, everyone was laughing and chatting like old friends. Our lovely co-sponsors, Teile and Jeremy from Casual Games, brought some fantastic titles and were joined by the amazing game steward, Zia. Stop by their store to find out more about all the games from the day.
People had a blast playing the adorable (and crazy fast-paced!) Teddies vs. Monsters. Marisa and Javier were fantastic demo'ing their game, and we can’t wait to see what happens next with their game launch! Follow them on Instagram for news on upcoming events and release.
And then there was Krypto-Nine, a game that made math fun! Terrance from Eruptious Games had us all scratching our heads and problem-solving to win the game. Krypto-Nine is now on sale, do us a favor and check it out!

It was so fantastic to see people of all ages getting involved. We had families, friends, and even some local officials (the Port Moody mayor and a few local police stopped by to solve the case of Mr. Jack) join us. Board games are an excellent way to bring people together, regardless of age or background, and we loved seeing people playing together and embracing the spirit of play. Overall it was a super wholesome experience.
We want to give a huge shout-out to everyone who attended the event. You were all fantastic, and we loved seeing your enthusiasm and passion for gaming. It was heartwarming to see how quickly everyone made new friends and bonded over a shared love of board games.
Further, we're thrilled to announce that we made over $800 for the Port Moody Station Museum! Thank you to the community for supporting this fantastic local cause.
Finally, we wanted to say that if this event was any indication, we're excited to hold more events like this in the future. It's clear that there is a demand for social gaming events, and we're thrilled to be able to provide a platform for people to come together and have fun.
